Grace Baynham and Dr Pete West - Working hard across Great Moor, Hazel Grove, Woodsmoor and Bramhall all year round Learn more
by Matthew Roberts on 24 November, 2017
After speaking to residents on Mile End Lane, Edenhurst Road and Sandhurst Road, Grace and Mark were told on almost every doorstep of persistent fly-tipping in the area around the former sheltered housing on Fulstone Mews in Great Moor.
Grace commented “Since the sheltered housing has been closed and boarded up, the small area around it seems to have become a popular spot to dump unwanted furniture and other items.”
Mark said “Fly-tipping is always an ugly sight and to ave this problem so close to a well populated and tidy esidential area is unacceptable. The problem has been eported to the Council and we will be looking at more permanent ways of making sure Fulstone Mews stays free of rubbish.”
